Adelaide Crapsey Poems

Adelaide Crapsey is remembered today for her creation of the cinquain form and her spirited verse. She died quite young, at only thirty-six, so most of her poetry was published after her death. A lot of her work, fitting for her short life, focuses on death and dying. Verse was the only collection published during her lifetime. Two more versions were edited and published after her death, both of which included new poems. Unfortunately, her popularity waned in the years after her death.
