Adrian Matejka

Adrian Matejka is a German-born poet who great up in California and attended university in Indiana. His first collection was published in 2003 and won the New York/New England Award. It was followed by Mixology in 2006, which one the National Poetry Series and was a finalist for the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Literature. He was also a finalist for the National Book Award and the Pulitzer Prize for The Big Smoke, published in 2013. He currently teaches at Indiana University in Bloomington.
