Alice Gray Jones was a Welsh writer who used the pseudonym “Ceridwen Peris.” Her earliest poems were published in 1874, and she was well-recognized in several literary publications by 1880. She later worked as the editor of Y Gymraes, a Welsh-language periodical. She died at 90 years old in Bangor, Maine.
