Allen Ginsberg

Allen Ginsberg was an American poet who was one of the primary leaders of the Beat Generation. His work opposed militarism and sexual repression and is often compared to other writers of the period like William S. Burroughs and Jack Kerouac. His best-known poem, ‘Howl,’ denounced the forces of capitalism in the United States.
