Andrew Motion

Andrew Motion is an English poet who served as Poet Laureate from 1999 to 2009. He founded the Poetry Archive. His time as Poet Laureate is remembered for his poems about liberty, homelessness, and contemporary news stories and disasters. He wrote the well-loved poem ‘Regime change’ in 2003 about the Invasion of Iraq.
