David McCord Poems

David McCord was an American poet who is better remembered for his fundraising efforts as executive director of the Harvard College Fund. He won a Guggenheim Fellowship in 1954 and was warded the first national award for Excellence in Poetry for Children from the National Council of Teachers of English.
