Ellen Bryant Voigt Poems

Ellen Bryant Voigt is an American poet who grew up in Viriginia. She attended Converse College and earned her MA from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. She served for a time as the poet laureate of Virginia. So far, she has published six collections of poetry and a collection of essays.

was an unplowed field a dress to be hemmed a scraped knee it needed
