Henry Howard, Earl of Surrey

Henry Howard was an English nobleman, politician, and poet who was born around 1517. He’s considered one of the founders of English Renaissance poetry, and his work is often connected to Sir Thomas Wyatt’s. He was famously executed by Henry VIII in 1547.
