J.C. Squire Poems

J.C. Squire was a British writer who is best remembered as the editor of the London Mercury. He was also a poet and historian. Throughout the First World War, he wrote satirical poems while reviewing for the New Statesman. He collected essays in If It Had Happened Otherwise, a series of alternative histories.
