John Wilmot Poems

John Wilmot was an English poet and part of Charles II’s court. His notable works are A Satyr Against Reason and Mankind, A Letter From Artemesia, and An Allusion to Horace. He was described by famed metaphysical poet Andrew Marvell as the “best English satirist.” His poetry was censored during the Victorian era.
