Judith Wright was an Australian poet who is well-remembered for her activism. She wrote and worked for Aboriginal land rights and environmentalism. Wright was a recipient of the Australian National Living Treasure Award in 1998. Her collections include The Old Prison, Selected Poems, and The Two Fires.
