Kate DiCamillo Poems

Kate DiCamillo is an American author and poet. She writes for children and adults and regards herself as a storyteller. Her work commonly deals with themes of death and loss. She won a Newbery Medal in 2004 for her best-known work, The Tale of Despereaux. She won a second Newbery for Flora & Ulysses: The Illuminated Adventures.
