Kwame Alexander

Kwame Alexander is an American poet and author of children’s literature. His 2015 novel, The Crossover, won the Newbery Medal. He won the same award for The Undefeated, an illustrated poem. His novels include Booked, Solo, and Swing and his picture books include Little Boys Soar, Surf’s Up, and How to Read a Book.
