Michael Dylan Welch Poems

Michael Dylan Welch is well-known for his prolific composition, astute critique, and ardent advocacy for the English-language haiku. He has written multiple collections of his own poetry in addition to anthologies and analytical works that have contributed to the development of the contemporary haiku genre.

In 1991, he co-founded the North America Haiku conference, which has since become a staple event in the haiku community, bringing together haiku poets from around the world to share their work and learn from one another.
