Mimi Khalvati is an Iranian poet who grew up on the Isle of Wight and currently lives in London. She works as a director of the London Poetry School. Her first book was published in 1991 titled In White Ink.
‘Ghazal’ is an ancient Persian form of poetry that makes use of couplets, which are quite similar to sonnets that have been in use by the European poets.
