Ruth Muskrat Bronson

Ruth Muskrat Bronson was a Cherokee poet and activist. She served as executive secretary for the National Congress of American Indians and worked for Native American rights throughout her life. She died in 1982 in Tucson, Arizona, at the age of 84. Read more of Ruth Muskrat Bronson’s Biography.
