Simon Armitage Poems

Simon Armitage is a contemporary English poet born in May 1963. He was appointed poet laureate in 2019. He has also written plays and novels. His first poetry collection, which is out of print today, was published in 1988. He has also spent time lecturing at various universities in the UK and abroad. He is the current Poet Laureate of the United Kingdom, having replaced Carol Ann Duffy in 2019.
