Sir Francis Bacon Poems

Sir Francis Bacon was an English philosopher and politician born in March 1617. He is sometimes referred to as the “father of empiricism.” Only a few examples of his poetry survived, much of which was written in his later life. He died of pneumonia at 65 years old.
