Tennessee Williams

Tennessee Williams, born Thomas Lanier Williams III, was an American playwright and poet born in 1911. His best-known work is A Streetcar Named Desire. His reputation declined as his career progressed and his style changed. He passed away in 1983 at the age of seventy-one.
