Vachel Lindsay Poems

Vachel Lindsay was an American poet born in 1879. He is commonly cited as a founding member of “singing poetry.” Many of his verses were meant to be chanted or sung rather than simply read aloud. At the end of his career, he was one of the best-known poets in the United States.
