Woody Guthrie

Woody Guthrie was an American singer-songwriter born in 1912. He is considered today to be one of the most important figures in American folk music. His work often focused on themes of socialism and fascism. He is best known for his song ‘This Land is Your Land.’ After a successful career, Guthrie died of Huntington’s disease in 1967.
