Zulfikar Ghose is a Pakistani-American essayist and poet. He currently lives in the United States, in the state of Texas. He writes in the magical realism genre and gained an international reputation in the 1970s for his fourth novel, The Incredible Brazilian.
Zulfikar Ghose is one of the most, if not the most, celebrated English-Pakistani writers and poets. He collaborated with other famous poets such as Sylvia Plath and Ted Hughes during his writing career, over the course of which he published seven books of poetry and twenty works of both non-fiction and fiction.
